BRAY PLAYERS ALL FREE TO GO

- BY MICHAEL SCULLY

BRAY Wanderers will not look for a fee for any player that wants out of the crisis club.

It emerged last night that the basement Premier Division club have agreed to release all players who want to leave on free transfers.

They had been told before tomorrow’s relegation six-pointer against Limerick that there would be a delay in their wages for June.

They had also experienced a delay in their May payment.

Club chairman Gerry Mulvey confirmed on Tuesday the club had “reluctantly” decided to listen to offers for any of their players.

But PFAI player executive Ollie Cahill insists granting Bray a Premier Division licence in February must be questioned.

He said: “If they were in this position last year, how are they back in this position again?”
