Entries open on Climate Action Fund

APPLICATIONS for a Climate Action Fund were launched today.

Minister Denis Naughten announced the scheme under the Government’s new €500million fund to support initiatives that will help Ireland reach its energy targets.

He said: “This is one of the most innovative measures we announced as part of Project Ireland 2040.

“It’s about turning innovative ideas into climate action and using this fund to support larger scale projects that would otherwise not be developed without this support from Government.”

The deadline for applications is October 1.
