Lotto luck in second €50k win

AN unbelievably lucky woman has claimed her second €50,000 Lotto win.

Susan Grace, 40, from Thomastown in Co Kilkenny, won the top prize on a €5 Bingo Times 10 scratchcard, which her mother bought for her.

Despite being an infrequent gambler, she is well used to jackpot success having bagged another €50,000 on Winning Streak in 2007. The lucky punter spoke of the “life-changing” effects her first win had on her family.

She said: “It gave us the freedom to make a lot of improvements in our lives.”

Grinning as she collected her second big pay-out, Ms Grace added: “I feel like the luckiest woman in Ireland.

“I have a wonderful family behind me so I will be sharing this win with my mother and my brothers and sisters.”

Thrilled mother Kathleen praised her daughter’s kindness. She said: “As well as sharing the win with everybody in her family, she has already made plans for us to renovate our home.

“She also wants to refurbish her dad’s grave.”
