THIERRY NOTE OF CAUTION
KEVIN DE BRUYNE says he would be surprised if Belgium’s French coach Thierry Henry did not sing La Marseillaise before tonight’s semi-final clash.
De Bruyne (right, with
Henry) said: “I would find that normal. It might be difficult for him, but he works for Belgium now. He’s not said much to us about the French team. He wants us to win. That’s his job and that’s football.” Belgium boss Roberto Martinez outlined the importance of Henry and said: “Thierry brings that elite knowledge of winning a World Cup.
“His dedication and attention to detail has been very important. He’s the perfect missing piece for us and our technical staff.”
