MEET Xpose’s latest recruit Nadine Reid who is not only flying the flag for the curvier lady on the TV3 show but is hoping she will find love in the process.

The Birmingham woman, who is a guest presenter, moved to Dublin three years ago and wowed station bosses who discovered her after she posed in a bikini on the cover of an Irish magazine.

The 40-year-old make-up artist told the Irish Mirror: “I’m happy with the body I have. When it’s fuller I’m happy, when it’s a bit tighter I’m happy, when it’s a bit floppy I’m still happy.

“We celebrate bigger bodies in the Caribbean. I can wear between an 18 on the top but in the back sometimes I need a 22.”

The rising star insists the West have a limited idea of what beauty is.

She added: “I think I’m blessed to have that variety, in the West there’s only this one type of beauty that everyone wants to be, I’m like, ‘No honey you need to go to Ghana’.”

Having starred on TV3’S Blind Date, Nadine is now hoping she can still find love in Ireland, with a little help from her Xpose exposure.

She said: “I’m just waiting to meet a guy face-toface. I’ve tried some sites but they weren’t for me.

“I feel really proud that Xpose are giving me a bigger platform to be myself.”

Nadine worked as a top make-up artist in London before making the move to Ireland.

She explained: “I call myself a Brum-dub, I was born and raised in Birmingham to Jamaican parents.”

“I’ve powdered the fastest man in the world Mr Usain Bolt in London, I’ve worked with Shakira, I did Westlife’s make-up over in the UK and Geri Halliwell, Missy Elliot and Faye Dunaway.”

Commenting on how she landed her TV3 gig, she said: “I’m such a chatterbox and got to do loads of covers for Stellar Magazine and Woman’s Way.

“So that’s how I got to meet Lucy Kennedy and Anna Daly, so hanging out with the

Irish talent helped me ”
