Tributes paid after jockey Laura, 25, dies of cancer
Laura Barry IRISH jockey Laura Barry has passed away aged 25 after a battle with cancer.
She was due to marry partner Ben Hamilton, brother of jockey Tony, today.

Fahey fought back the tears as he spoke of her after his horse Zap claimed a poignant victory at the Silvery Bunbury Cup at Newmarket.
He said: “She was a wonderful girl and will be truly missed. She was loved by everyone.
“She was a very tough girl, but had been suffering for a long time. She was just such a star and never complained.”
Pal Gemma Tutty added: “She was so tremendously brave and fought tenaciously right until the end.
“We made memories together that will last a lifetime and I’m so grateful racing brought us together. I couldn’t be prouder to call her my best friend.”
Laura began suffering pain in her left leg in 2016 and was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive tumour.
Former champion jockey Paul Hanagan, who worked with her during her time under Fahey, said: “Ben and her were supposed to be getting married this weekend and that only makes it even more sad.” former trainer
