Death returns to Irish roads
THREE more lives have been lost on our roads in just 24 hours.
All the victims were pedestrians.
The fatalities come just a few days after the Road Safety Authority said the majority of pedestrian fatalities happen at night.
And the victims are mostly people aged over 75.
As winter approaches, every motorist must make sure they slow down, especially during the hours of darkness.
Pedestrians please wear high-visibility clothing if you’re out at night.
One life lost is too many.
