€38k for boy who frac­tured teeth play­ing

Dad Ar­ron Ryan A BOY who suf­fered frac­tures to his two front teeth when he was struck in the mouth with a toy gun has set­tled his High Court ac­tion for €38,000.

Aaron O’neill was eight at the time of the ac­ci­dent which oc­curred in a play cen­tre in Cel­bridge, Co Kil­dare, on June 15, 2016.

His coun­sel Robert Beatty said it was a school trip that went wrong.

It was claimed the com­plainant, who is now 11, was struck in the mouth with a gun by an­other child as they played in the Quasar area.

Aaron, from Birch­wood Heights in Tal­laght, South Dublin, had through his fa­ther Ar­ron Ryan sued Aztec En­ter­tain­ment Ltd, trad­ing as Base En­ter­tain­ment Cen­tre.
