€180k tech upgrade for dog racing
Joe Lewins GREYHOUND racing bosses are spending €180,000 on a vital computer network, it was announced yesterday.
The money will upgrade the Irish Greyhound Board’s Race Management System, which operates across Ireland and pays 7,313 owners and 543 trainers.
Made To Engage – based in Belfast, Dublin and London – has won the tender for the first phase of the work.
IGB director Joe Lewins said: “The RMS system is an integral part of the IGB and a modern greyhound industry.
“It will further enhance operational effectiveness and continue to improve customer experience.”
