Fans’ love for tragic ‘hero’ Foxes owner

Jamie and Rebekah THOUSANDS of Leicester City fans signed books of condolence in memory of their Thai owner yesterday.

Fans grieved for Vichai Srivaddhan­aprabha, 61, who died in Saturday’s horrific helicopter crash.

Investigat­ors are probing what caused the eightseate­r Westland AW169 to plummet to the ground.

Two colleagues, the pilot and co-pilot also died.

A source said members of the first team plan to travel to Thailand for billionair­e Vichai’s funeral.

Injured Foxes player Daniel Amartey laid a wreath outside the King Power stadium, as did striker Jamie Vardy and his wife Rebekah.

Fan Emily Simpson, 26, of Queniborou­gh, Leics, said: “He was like a god.”
