Fast Show special next year? Niiiiice

Calling all fans of The Fast Show – the cast are in talks to make a 25th anniversary special next year.

The show launched on BBC2 on September 27, 1994, and John Thomson, who played Jazz Club host Louis Balfour, revealed he was hoping for a TV reunion with the likes of Paul Whitehouse, Charlie Higson, Simon Day and Arabella Weir.

Speaking to BBC Radio Manchester, Cold Feet star Thomson said: “We’re hoping to do a special, which is very exciting.

“You heard it first here. We’re in talks, as they say.”

We have one word for that. Hurrah.
