Star’s advice after heart attack
Pundit David Ginola DAVID Ginola has advised Glenn Hoddle not to return to work too soon, as he recovers from a heart attack.
Ginola, 51, admits he made a mistake by going back to work on TV just three weeks after his own attack.
The ex-spurs and Newcastle winger was clinically dead for nine minutes after collapsing at a charity game in May 2016.
He is advising former England manager Hoddle, 61, who fell ill after a live TV broadcast on October 27, against returning to the studio too quickly.
Ginola said: “With hindsight, I think it was a mistake to go back to work presenting Euro 2016 for French TV channnel M6, only three weeks after my heart attack and quadruple bypass, only three weeks after I ‘died’.
“I do hope Glenn or anyone having suffered a heart attack will get time to convalesce and take it easy. It is difficult to come to terms, physically and mentally, with having died.” He added: “Glenn and were both lucky to have someone close by who knew how to give a heart massage and knew how to use a defibrillator.
“So, if I can allow one piece of advice to everyone – get yourself trained in the firstaid reflexes, and treat yourself to the experience of a lifetime, the
