Viewers take a dig at unfit leo

OPERATION Transformation viewers were quick to take a dig at Leo Varadkar amid the continuing nurses strike.

The Taoiseach, 40, was taken aback on the RTE show when he was told he had the fitness of a 53-year-old.

And as health staff took to the picket lines for a third day yesterday, viewers went on social media to take a swipe at the Fine Gael leader.

One tweeted: “Poor ould Leo can’t just play it cool always worried about the image. Why don’t you ask a nurse to look into it for you?”

Another added: “It’s such a pity there wasn’t any nurse around for Leo. Now imagine what it’s like for people that really need them.”
