Going potty at the Cork Lavit Gallery
It could drive you potty, or get you all fired up.
A new exhibition will open up at Cork’s Lavit Gallery today which will feature the work of the Society of Cork Potters. The non-profit body is open to all ceramic artists or potters who live in the region and reflects a wide diversity of current creative ceramic activity in Cork. The society organises ceramic-specific networking events, workshops, and exhibitions. Members participating in this year’s exhibition include: Jocelyn Adams, Elizabeth Burgess, Ann Burns, Martha Cashman, Darren Cassidy, Andrew Collins, Stephanie Dinkelbach, Sinead Fagan, Cillian Gibbons, Clare Green, Etain Hickey, Jim Kelleher, Charlie Mahon, Kira O Brien, Orla O Rourke, Sara Roberts, Catherine Ryan, David Seeger, Julian Smith, Kathleen Standen, Jim Turner, Pim Wijnmaalen, and Adrian Wisterich.
Being opened this afternoon by Francis Keane between 5pm– 7pm it will continue until Saturday, August 26.
