Guinness in foodservice initiative
Kepak, Ireland’s leading meat supplier to the foodservice market, has partnered with Guinness to create a new slow cooked range for bar and hospitality industry.
The new products, some of which have been created using the famous Irish stout, were showcased this week at Hospitality Expo 2018 in Dublin. Bláthnaid Ni Fhátharta, Marketing Director for Kepak Foodservice & Corporate Communications, said: “This range was specifically developed with the publican in mind, this will allow them to offer world class menu items without the hassle.
“In combining the brand pull of Guinness with a range of traditional, favourite dishes, Kepak have produced a unique offering that’s perfect for the licensed trade.”
The products in Kepak’s new slow cooked range for the bar and hospitality industry include Guinness Braised Beef Steak & Onions, Guinness & Beef Casserole, Pulled Pork and Beef, Minted Lamb Shank, Pork Belly, Beef and Pork Ribs, and various platter solutions.
Pubs are estimated to have 17% of the food service market in the island of Ireland.
Wth a turnover of €950 million and employing 2,800, Kepak h a s b e e f, lamb, pork and convenience food processing facilities in Ireland and the UK.
