Guin­ness in food­ser­vice ini­tia­tive

Kepak, Ire­land’s lead­ing meat sup­plier to the food­ser­vice mar­ket, has part­nered with Guin­ness to cre­ate a new slow cooked range for bar and hos­pi­tal­ity in­dus­try.

The new prod­ucts, some of which have been cre­ated us­ing the fa­mous Ir­ish stout, were show­cased this week at Hos­pi­tal­ity Expo 2018 in Dublin. Bláth­naid Ni Fhátharta, Mar­ket­ing Di­rec­tor for Kepak Food­ser­vice & Cor­po­rate Com­mu­ni­ca­tions, said: “This range was specif­i­cally de­vel­oped with the pub­li­can in mind, this will al­low them to of­fer world class menu items with­out the has­sle.

“In com­bin­ing the brand pull of Guin­ness with a range of tra­di­tional, favourite dishes, Kepak have pro­duced a unique of­fer­ing that’s per­fect for the li­censed trade.”

The prod­ucts in Kepak’s new slow cooked range for the bar and hos­pi­tal­ity in­dus­try in­clude Guin­ness Braised Beef Steak & Onions, Guin­ness & Beef Casse­role, Pulled Pork and Beef, Minted Lamb Shank, Pork Belly, Beef and Pork Ribs, and var­i­ous plat­ter so­lu­tions.

Pubs are es­ti­mated to have 17% of the food ser­vice mar­ket in the is­land of Ire­land.

Wth a turnover of €950 mil­lion and em­ploy­ing 2,800, Kepak h a s b e e f, lamb, pork and con­ve­nience food pro­cess­ing fa­cil­i­ties in Ire­land and the UK.

One of the new slow-cooked ranre of prod­ucts de­vel­oped by Kepak in con­junc­tion with Guin­ness, some of which in­clude the fa­mous Ir­ish stout as an in­rre­di­ent.
