Count­down to Se­andún’s 60th

The fi­nal count­down to Se­andún’s 60th an­niver­sary din­ner dance cel­e­bra­tion is of­fi­cially on.

The event will take place in Rochestown Park Ho­tel on Satur­day, April 14.

The first Se­andún meet­ing was held in 1957 and in the in­ter­ven­ing years, Se­andún Macra has con­trib­uted mas­sively to the lives of thou­sands of young peo­ple in Cork, help­ing them to de­velop so­cial skills and lead­er­ship tal­ents.

The evening will be­gin with a cham­pagne re­cep­tion at 6.30pm, fol­lowed by a five-course meal, with mu­sic from Bog the Don­key, and a DJ.

Guest speak­ers will in­clude three for­mer na­tional Macra pres­i­dents from Se­andún; Flor Rior­dan, De­clan Martin and Alan Ja­goe.
