Safety features highly in new trailed crop sprayers
Kuhn Farm Machinery has four new Oceanis trailed crop sprayer models, the 5002, 5602, 6902 and 7702 with tank capacities of 5,000, 5,600, 6,900 and 7,700 litres respectively. The compact, all-aluminium, self-levelling booms are 24m to 48m wide.
The new sprayers are fully ISOBUS compatible for control from a single in-cab terminal.
A separate box places key section control, boom height and angle controls within fingertip reach.
The new sprayers are also CANBUS compatible. They are available with available with Kuhn’s Multispray electric nozzle holders for in-cab individual nozzle selection.
The e-Set cleaning system automates tank rinsing. A Closed Transfer System chemical induction bowl further enhances safety; chemicals can be added and chemical containers cleaned without the operator coming in contact with harmful substances.
The Stopmix system automatically switches the tank agitator off to prevent excessive foam creation. Three sensors distinguish between crop canopy and ground level, to improve spraying accuracy in high density or lodged crops. The easy-rinse polyester tanks have internal baffles for improved machine stability. Drawbar, axle, parallelogram and boom suspension systems provide additional stability.
