GAME ON: Ruben The Entertainer will host a board game-themed weekend of family fun at Arnotts on October 14 and 15, with children’s fashion shows, flashmob dance performances, a ventriloquist and magician on Saturday. SIGHT SAVERS: For the month of October, Orbis Ireland has launched a running challenge to fund sight-saving treatment for children in Ethiopia. Participants in Run 20/20 are being asked to run for at least 20 minutes a day for 20 days until October 31. Runners have control of when and where they run. Each runner is asked to raise a minimum of €80, which funds 12 sight-saving operations. Register at www.run2020.com
