IF you are look­ing for some in­spi­ra­tion when it comes to en­ter­tain­ing, Bal­ly­maloe Cook­ery School teacher Rory O’Con­nell has lots of ideas in his sec­ond cook­book, Cook Well, Eat Well, (Gill Books, €24.99 hard­back). In­clud­ing recipes from his RTÉ TV show How to Cook Well, the book is de­signed to help you pro­duce sea­sonal and bal­anced three-course meals. O’Con­nell, who founded Bal­ly­maloe Cook­ery School with his sis­ter Da­rina Allen, says: “I some­times get asked ‘I am never con­fi­dent about what I should serve with what.’ This is what this book is all about.” The book is di­vided into the sea­sons and ev­ery recipe caters for four to six peo­ple.
