They hit upon the plan of creating a tea-room in a courtyard stable — but do they have what it takes to make it a commercial success? Francis Brennan aims to make sure they do. Big Week on the Farm, RTE One, Monday, April 7, to Friday, April 13, 7pm Early April is one of the biggest weeks of the year for farmers, and viewers will get an insight into just how busy that can be. Every evening at 7pm, Ella McSweeney, Áine Lawlor (pictured left), and celebrity guest presenters will descend on the O’Sullivan family’s dairy farm in Waterford to witness the chaos of spring calving and milking. The first episode will also take a look inside the secret world of crows, give an insight into the variety of wildlife to be found on the beach near the farm, and will show how the farm of the future may involve robots and artificial intelligence.
