MORE than 1,200 lots will come un­der the ham­mer at a two­day, on-the-premises auc­tion in Dublin.

Matthews of Old­cas­tle, will be at 15 Royal Ter­race, Dun Laoghaire to­day and to­mor­row, of­fer­ing lots from a num­ber of prop­er­ties and estates.

The sale will in­clude ev­ery­thing from cast iron foot scrap­ers to Re­gency en­grav­ings, from a Vic­to­rian over­man­tel to an­tique fur­ni­ture­an­das­in­gle­owner

col­lec­tion of an­tique sil­ver; a small li­brary of an­ti­quar­ian books, as well as jew­ellery and col­lectibles.

The auc­tion starts each day at 1.30pm with view­ing from 10am to­day and to­mor­row.
