New facilities in place for opening meeting at Tipperary
Tipperary Racecourse will open its gates for the first meeting of the 2013 season next Thursday, showcasing the results of the latest development work at the track.
The development includes a new entrance building, the relocation of the pre-saddling arena in front of the stand, improvements to the enclosure layout and the completion of the stable yard upgrade. This follows the construction of a 42-stall American-style barn last year.
A new pathway has been installed to link the Limerickend car park to the new entrance building, meaning customers can easily and safely access the entrance from both car parks.
The development will also include the installation of a children’s playground which will be located in the heart of the enclosure, close to the self-service restaurant. Alter- ations have been made to the bookmakers’ ring which was part of the overall improvements to the surfacing and layout of the enclosure.
Tipperary: A raft of improved facilities.
