The turning points

Irish Examiner - Sport - - CAMOGIE -

The women in red and white began well and were the clear leaders in energy in the early stages, leading five points to one after 15 minutes. They were quicker to the breaks and won ruck after ruck, while in Gemma O’connor and Aisling Thompson they had the dominant personalities of the match, who managed to get to the pitch of the game faster than their opponents. Cork needed a very late winning point - very late indeed but they were in contention at that stage on the back of that storming opener.
