The family fun day is free for children under 12 and will have magic shows, bouncy castles, arts and crafts and a kiddies disco. Tomorrow it’s the TJ McNamara Ladbrokes Munster National and Keanes Most Stylish Lady Competition where the winner will pick up a diamond pendant valued at €4,000. Simon Says Cycle Griffins Garden Centre in Dripsey Co Cork is hosting its 5th annual cycle for Cork Simon and One Ethiopia tomorrow. The minimum donation is €20. The cycle begins at 10am at Griffins and registration starts at 9am.

Designing Ireland The Kilkenny Shop is going to shine a spotlight on Irish craft and fashion from Monday for its annual Irish Craft and Design week.
This nationwide campaign aims to honour home-grown talent and the vast range created in Ireland, from pottery to crystal, handmade jewellery and fashion. The week includes a recruitment drive for new Irish talent, an Emerging Jewellery Design competition, in-store craft demonstrations and free vouchers.

Chill Out Written and performed by Aidan Dooley, Tom Crean – Antarctic Explorer returns for a 10th time to the Everyman in Cork. Crean, the intrepid Antarctic explorer, and one of Ireland’s unsung heroes, is brought to life in this dramatic and humorous solo performance.
It runs from Tuesday until Saturday from 8pm. Tickets cost €27. Irish Sign Language interpreted performance on Saturday.
