Bus unions warn of industrial action

Irish Examiner - - News -

Unions at Bus Éireann have warned the company of potential industrial action if there is any attempt to implement new rosters from this weekend without agreement.

The rosters are due to come into effect on Sunday.

The company said it has, and continues to be in dialogue and consultation with unions over the rosters.

“It remains of paramount importance that these rosters and rotations — which improve efficiency — are introduced as planned and previously agreed, given ongoing financial losses,” said a Bus Éireann spokeswoman.

New rosters are due to come into effect on Sunday.
