Woman bailed as teen still missing
A 71-year-old woman, arrested in connection with a missing teenager who has not been seen for a week, has been released on bail, Dorset police have said.
The woman, and a 19-year-old man, believed to be her grandson, were arrested on suspicion of murder on Monday afternoon, in connection with the disappearance of Gaia Pope.
Ms Pope, 19, from Langton Matravers, was staying at an address in Swanage, when she went missing on the afternoon of November 7. She was last seen at an address in Manor Gardens, on Morrison Road, in the town, at 4pm. The female suspect was released on bail “under investigation”, while the male remains in custody.
