An­drea Roche modelling agency ex­pands

THE An­drea Roche modelling agency is ex­pand­ing and now rep­re­sents Ire­land’s most pop­u­lar ‘so­cial in­flu­encers’ in the ar­eas of fash­ion, travel and fit­ness.

Buoyed by the suc­cess of mod­els and bloggers Roz Pur­cell and Pippa O’Con­nor in the pub­lish­ing world, Agency man­ag­ing di­rec­tor An­drea Roche, in­set, yes­ter­day said the agency now rep­re­sents Ire­land’s most pop­u­lar so­cial in­flu­encers.

She said they work in the fields of fash­ion, beauty, nutri­tion, fit­ness and life­style blog­ging and vlog­ging. Ms Roche es­tab­lished the An­drea Roche Model Agency in 2010.

Last year it en­joyed its best year to date af­ter record­ing com­bined rev­enues of al­most €1m in its first two full years.

Un­til now, the agency has been fo­cused on rep­re­sent­ing mod­els and Ms Roche said that the host of so­cial in­flu­encers in the ar­eas of Fash­ion, Travel, Fit­ness, Life­style and beauty now be­ing rep­re­sented by her firm in­clude Rosie Con­nolly, Grace Mongey (Faces by Grace) Lorna Weight­man, Ciara O’Do­herty Tara O’Far­rell, Brit­tany Ma­son and Maeve Madden.

Ms Roche said that she hopes that in­come from the ‘so­cial in­flu­encers’ will soon rep­re­sent 20pc of rev­enues at the agency.

She said that so­cial me­dia has al­tered the bal­ance of power be­tween con­sumers and brands.
