Four-star McWilliam Park Ho­tel in Co Mayo for €9m

SE­NIOR vice pres­i­dent at JLL’s ho­tel & hos­pi­tal­ity divi­sion, Dan O’Con­nor, is quot­ing a guide price in ex­cess of €9m for the four-star McWilliam Park Ho­tel in Co Mayo.

Lo­cated on the Kil­co­man Road in the town­land of Bo­her­duff, Clare­mor­ris, the ho­tel is be­ing of­fered for sale with free­hold ti­tle and the ben­e­fit of full va­cant pos­ses­sion. Built by de­vel­op­ers JJ Rhati­gan, the McWilliam Park Ho­tel opened for busi­ness in 2006. Since then, it has es­tab­lished an ex­cel­lent rep­u­ta­tion based on a well-in­vested full ser­vice of­fer­ing.

The premises com­prises 103 gue­strooms, Ka­vanagh’s Bar, John Gray’s Restau­rant, the 600-per­son McWilliam Park Suite, four ad­di­tional meet­ing rooms, a full leisure cen­tre with 18-me­tre swim­ming pool and the Chique Spa.

The cen­tre­piece of the McWilliam Park Ho­tel is its ex­ten­sive con­fer­enc­ing and ban­quet­ing of­fer­ing, with the ho­tel reg­u­larly host­ing ma­jor con­certs, so­cial danc­ing and events, in­clud­ing some of the best coun­try and cabaret per­form­ers from across the globe through­out the year. The ho­tel is af­fec­tion­ately dubbed “The Nashville of the West”.

With pro­vin­cial Ir­ish ho­tel market RevPAR grow­ing by 11pc last year, Dan O’Con­nor says “the McWilliam Park is a rare op­por­tu­nity for ho­tel in­vestors and op­er­a­tors to ac­quire one of Co Mayo’s most dom­i­nant and high-qual­ity ho­tels”.
