Meghan and Harry boost
VISITOR numbers doubled at Epic, the Irish Emigration Museum, in Dublin’s Docklands after a high-profile visit from Meghan Markle and Britain’s Prince Harry in July. The venue is on track to welcome its 250,000th visitor since opening in May 2016. The royal newly-weds visited the museum in July and the next day it had its busiest so far with 1,262 visitors. Numbers were up by 106pc in August. The €15m interactive visitor experience tells the story of the Irish diaspora, and was developed by the team behind Titanic Belfast under the direction of Epic Chairman Neville Isdell, pictured above with the couple.
