Who will face death? Paul

Irish Independent - Weekend Magazine - - WEEKEND -

At the risk of repetition, there is only one storyline lumbering on longer than Katy slowly wasting away in her box... And that’s Niamh’s betrayal. When are her beautifully arched eyebrows going to get busted, already?

Half of Carrigstown knows she swindled her husband out of his “fowartune”. She’s purchased innumerable plane tickets in repeated attempts to leave Old Mr Brennan — and yet she’s still here. Sick to the back teeeet of Niamh’s machinations, Robbie is only too happy to point Paul in the direction of the festering rat he keeps whiffing. Actually, Robbie goes above and beyond. He confirms Paul’s fears that Niamh and Marcus had been romping in the Ballintine. Robbie also lets Paul know that Niamh knew about Hayley all along.

Paul, in full snarly rogue mode, rampages around the marital home, looking for further evidence to back up Robbie’s bombshell, and he gets way more than he bargained for. Instead of stumbling across another receipt for a bottle of illicit bedroom bubbly, he locates Niamh’s wish list of Barcelona abodes and FINALLY realises
