Traditional charm for Colm & Sinead

When Colm and Sinead were introduced several years ago through mutual friends, there was an instant spark. A few months went by before the pair arranged their first date — but after that there was no stopping their romance.

When Colm was planning to propose, he whisked Sinead off on a relaxing weekend break to BrookLodge Hotel in Co Wicklow, where he got down on one knee while the pair took a walk on a beautifully sunny day.

Colm and Sinead opted for a Catholic church wedding in the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock, Co Dublin, followed by a reception at the stunning Druids Glen Resort, Co Wicklow. The pair loved the idyllic grounds surrounding the venue and knew the beautiful interiors would be ideal for photos too.

“We wanted to create a fun atmosphere with a spring/ summer theme to it,” says Sinead.

To add a personal touch to the day, Sinead’s aunt Maura created all of the beautiful flower arrangements, and a relative of Sinead’s sang during the church ceremony.

Sinead found her perfect dress in The Bridal Boutique in Fairview, Dublin, while her groom wore a suit from Baumler on Dublin’s Dawson Street.

Sinead and Colm enjoyed the honeymoon of a lifetime over two weeks. Starting in Cancún, Mexico, they then travelled to Orlando, Florida, and ended their stay in New York.
