Some­one once said that “Twit­ter will make chil­dren of us all” (well, it was me, ac­tu­ally) and that trend con­tin­ues when a di­ag­nos­tic sur­vey run by both Facebook and Twit­ter dis­cov­ers that, as of the mid­dle of April 2017, ev­ery sin­gle user has ei­ther been bul­lied or been a bully. Most peo­ple also fell into both cat­e­gories.

This prompts fu­ri­ous de­nun­ci­a­tions from Ir­ish politi­cians, who seem to show lit­tle gen­uine un­der­stand­ing of the is­sue when Enda Kenny de­mands to have a meet­ing with the in­ter­net to tell it to buck up its ideas.
