The original album — the New Yorkers’ second — weighed in at under 30 minutes and it’s among the leanest, most thrilling releases of the 1970s. The punk attack that characterised their debut is present and correct, but there’s greater sophistication in the songwriting and more finesse in the production. Stand-outs? ‘Suzy is a Headbanger’ and ‘I Remember You’.
