Come on, lo­cals – don’t be shy

THAT in­spired idea to plonk a psy­che­delic pi­ano on the south­bound plat­form of Dublin’s Pearse Sta­tion has given weary Dart com­muters a rea­son to prac­tice some­thing that is all too rare: smil­ing.

One think has struck me though. Of all the ivory tick­lers I’ve heard in the past sev­eral weeks, most seem to be tourists or (sorry, re­ally hate this term) non-na­tion­als. Is it be­cause we’re shy, or do vis­i­tors re­ally have all the best tunes?
