Paul signs up to a pi­rate’s life on movie

Paul Mccart­ney SIR Paul Mccart­ney was drafted into the new Pi­rates of the Caribbean movie af­ter Keith Richards was forced to drop out.

The Rolling Stones star plays Jack Spar­row’s fa­ther Cap­tain Teague.

But in­stead Mccart­ney, 74, was in­tro­duced as his Un­cle Jack.

Di­rec­tors Joachim Ron­ning and Espen Sand­berg told En­ter­tain­ment Weekly: “We had even writ­ten a scene for Keith.

“And then be­cause of some sched­ul­ing is­sues, he couldn’t come to Aus­tralia to shoot.

“We should hon­our the tra­di­tion of show­ing a Jack Spar­row fam­ily mem­ber.

“And we made a very short list, and of course, at the very top of that list was Sir Paul Mccart­ney.”
