Trump won’t back climate change fight
Donald Trump DONALD Trump refused to back a deal to tackle climate change yesterday.
The US President demanded more time to decide whether to honour commitments to reduce carbon emissions under the 2015 Paris Agreement.
It left America isolated from the other wealthy nations at the G7 summit – Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy and Japan.
Last night Friends of the Earth said Mr Trump was treating the world with “utter contempt”.
And 2,000 protesters accused leaders at the summit in Taormina, Sicily, of ignoring the interests of ordinary people.
The G7 row came as US officials claimed Mr Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner tried to set up secret talks with Russia. A-rod and J-LO
