Show us the love, Rooney
EVERTON want Wayne Rooney to put love before money when he decides his footballing future.
Blues boss Ronald Koeman is hoping the lure of an emotional return to Goodison Park may be too tempting for Rooney to reject.
Everton will only sanction a deal that would be worth less than half of the £300,000-a-week wages that the 31-year-old earns at Old Trafford. Rooney knows that there is a two-year contract worth £50million waiting for him in China as he weighs up his options after being told he is surplus to requirements at Manchester United.
Koeman will also seek assurances that a player who has won every club honour in 13 years at United is still hungry for success.
