Three in­jured af­ter crash along bridge

THREE peo­ple were in­jured in a Dublin car crash early yes­ter­day.

One per­son suf­fered se­ri­ous in­juries while an­other es­caped with mi­nor shoul­der dam­age.

All three were taken to St James’s Hos­pi­tal by am­bu­lance shortly af­ter the two-car col­li­sion at Por­to­bello Bridge.

Gar­dai and units from Dublin Fire Brigade at­tended the scene. The fire ser­vice shared im­ages from the smash on twit­ter.

They tweeted: “Dol­phins Barn’s D watch at­tended a 2 car RTC at Por­to­bello Bridge first thing this morn­ing. 3 pa­tients to hos­pi­tal by D24 and NAS.”
