Turkey is the best value destination for kids’ beach break “must-have” extras this summer. The annual Post Office Travel Money Family Holiday Report – released yesterday – looked at the price of 12 typical beach holiday add-ons such as ice creams, water park tickets, pedalo rides, soft drinks, sunscreen, jelly shoes and snorkelling gear.

In the eurozone the Costa del Sol, Crete and Cyprus were best, while the highest overall prices were in the French and Neapolitan Rivieras.
