Mar­vel-lous at keep­ing a movie se­cret

Tom Vaughan-lawlor TOM Vaughan-lawlor kept tight-lipped about his role in Avengers: In­fin­ity War when he ap­peared on the Late Late.

The ac­tor, who rose to fame as gang­ster Nidge in hit RTE crime drama Love/hate, ad­mit­ted there was much se­crecy around the new Mar­vel film.

He said: “Here’s what I can say, I au­di­tioned for the part, as peo­ple do, and you send off th­ese au­di­tions and you try your best and hope you do well.”

The 39-year-old ac­tor ap­peared on Fri­day night’s chat show to dis­cuss his role in Maze, a new movie about the 1983 break­out from the prison.

Vaughan-lawlor plays the mas­ter­mind be­hind the in­fa­mous North­ern jail es­cape by repub­li­cans.
