Scarlett: I’m late because of anxiety at meeting fans

TV Scarlett SCARLETT Moffatt has told how she is so anxious meeting fans that it makes her late “for everything.”

The Gogglebox TV favourite – who won I’m A Celebrity... this year – said: “I’m my own worst enemy. I suffer from anxiety.

“Because I like people, when they come up to me in the street and want a chat and a selfie I’m very flattered. I do miss a lot of trains because of it!”

“I daren’t say, ‘Oh I’m really sorry I’ve got to go now,’ because I’m sure they’re going to think, ‘She’s rude, no she doesn’t!’

“And it makes me late for everything. I even set off early but I’m still just late and that’s the worst thing!”

Since her jungle win, Scarlett, 27, has presented Channel 4’s Streetmate and joined Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.

Her rise to fame saw her split with boyfriend Luke Crodden before reportedly reuniting. But she’s not interested in kids... just yet.

“My nanny had me mam when she was 16. Me mam had me when she was 19.

“So I’m the senior citizen in terms of the womb,” she says. “But one day I’ll have a kid, maybe, probably.”
