Jones: Home fun’s tonic for in­tense roles

Su­ranne Jones SU­RANNE Jones says hav­ing fun and get­ting home in time to bath her tod­dler keeps her sane af­ter in­tense act­ing work.

The Doc­tor Fos­ter star, 39, will be seen in her lat­est tough role in Sky At­lantic thriller Save Me.

She said: “Life is about bal­ance. When I’m not work­ing, I like to have fun.

“It’s im­por­tant to show my boy that I’m work­ing but I want to be home for bath­time. I miss my son.”

Save Me, about a child that goes miss­ing in South Lon­don, starts this month.

She had wanted some time off af­ter the suc­cess of Doc­tor Fos­ter and be­com­ing a mum. But she told Week­end mag­a­zine: “My agent said, ‘You must look at this’. I thought, ‘I don’t want to work’. But then I read it.” Reg E Cathey
