Severed foot beach link to two bodies
TWO men whose bodies were washed up on a beach 48 hours after a human foot was found nearby have been identified.
Detectives were last night contacting the men’s relatives.
The bodies were found on the island of Anglesey, North Wales, on Friday.
A severed right foot was discovered on another beach across the Menai Strait near Bangor on Wednesday.
Tests showed the foot had been in the water no longer than a week and DNA was obtained for examination.
Police said the men were not from North Wales.
Det Insp Gerwyn Thomas said: “The men’s deaths are currently being treated as unexplained.”
