I’m looking for female me... after a fashion Ex-head To Toe host’s First Date

-

Gemma for me, a female me.” Mum of one Gemma, from Sandymount, South Dublin, had been down on her luck with dating apps. She said she was looking for someone well adjusted, happy with their life, a music lover and someone to hang out with “for a long time”. The 41-year-old added: “It’s lovely being in love. It’s just so overwhelming when you fall in love, at the beginning.

“It’s worth looking for because it’s so nice when you have it.”

BONDED

Pat had used dating apps too, but only had a few cups of coffee as a result.

He said: “I’m the wrong side of 40 and so be it.” After a dinner in The Gibson Hotel in Dublin, the pair split the bill.

Pat added: “Gemma was great. We got on like a house on fire. We really bonded over music and we have so much in common.

“There are moments of deafening silence on First Dates, but there was none of that.”

But both revealed there was no Pat O’mahoney romantic spark. Gemma said: “I don’t feel like we were doing much in the way of flirting. Dating wise or romance wise, I’ve got nothing.”

Pat suggested they go to gigs together. They arranged to see British musician Ghostpoet and are planning on attending more.

He admitted: “I knew that my chances were very slim.”
