Aer Lingus in ‘worst seat ever’ storm
A MAN was given what was described as the “worst airline seat ever” on an Aer Lingus flight after he forked out €565.
Matthew Madrigal was put on a flat, cushion-less board for a Dublin to Chicago flight and told an attendant would do something to relocate him.
However, he was forced to endure a seven-hour journey on the seat as attendants were busy with intoxicated passengers.
His mother contacted an online forum where many commented on the seat, telling her it was the worst they’d ever seen.
Aer Lingus apologised to Matthew and gave him a $50 voucher.
Their customer care team said they sent a report to head office and will be in touch.
