AMANDA Byram has admitted her big break on TV3 20 years ago was one of the “most amazing experiences” of her career.

The ex-dancing With The Stars presenter joined the Ballymount station, which has since been rebranded Virgin Media Television, as a presenter on Ireland AM.

The 45-year-old was one of Ireland’s most successful models at the time before making the leap to TV.

Reminiscing, Amanda posted a photo of herself and Ireland AM star Mark Cagney on the cover of a magazine. She said: “Wow someone just sent me this... we were babies.

“Ireland AM was my first TV gig exactly 20 years ago alongside the amazing Mark Cagney, my first ever TV husband.”
