DJ jailed for party rape & abusing boys
A DJ who raped a 16-yearold girl after she got drunk at a party he threw has been jailed for 17 years.
Former parish council chairman Mark Mccormick, 49, also groomed and abused boys he employed as roadies.
He admitted 14 offences, committed between 1997 and 2011, on the first day of his trial at Southampton crown court in September.
Sentencing Mccormick, of Bursledon, Hants, Judge Nicholas Rowland said: “You controlled and manipulated your victims.
“No doubt they were excited by the idea of being with someone who was leading a rather glamorous lifestyle.”
