Spy­ing row pas­tor home to see Trump

Pas­tor Brun­son DON­ALD Trump wel­comed pas­tor An­drew Brun­son to the Oval Of­fice yes­ter­day after he was re­leased from jail in Turkey.

Mr Brun­son was ac­cused of spy­ing and aid­ing ter­ror­ists and held for two years in a case that hurt ties with the US.

He flew home Amer­ica yes­ter­day.

Pres­i­dent Trump thanked the Turk­ish pres­i­dent for help free­ing him, in­sist­ing no deal had been struck with Turkey.

He tweeted: “It will be won­der­ful to see and meet him. He is a great Chris­tian who has been through such a tough ex­pe­ri­ence.”
