Woman was punched and kicked on Wellington Quay
GARDAI in Drogheda are investigating after a 44-year-old woman was assaulted by another female on Wellington Quay last Saturday.
The incident happened at 1.30pm when the woman was attacked from behind as she walked along the street.
The injured party received a number of punches to the face and kicks to the body.
She received medical attention for her injuries before reporting the incident. Gardaí have asked anyone who may have witnessed the attack to contact them at Drogheda Garda Station. Meanwhile, a small quantity of jewellery was taken during a burglary at a house in Termon Abbey on Thursday last, September 7 th.
A small quantity of jewellery and watches, including a Skagen watch, were taken from the home.
The break-in happened soemtime between 1.15pm and 2.25pm with the cuprits gaining entry through the front door. A number of tools were stolen after three vans were broken into last Thursday morning.
In Liscorrie, two vehicles were broken into between 7.30am and 10am.
Items taken included a Stihl Consaw, A yellow Topcon laser level and a fob for a gate.
A third van parked at the Lourdes Hospital was also broken into between 8.45am and 11am and a Hilti drill was stolen from the vehicle.
