A host of events will take place in Drogheda to celebrate Positive Aging Week in September.
On Monday, September 25th the Monday Morning Club will take place on Mayoralty Street from 10.30am to 12.30pm and on the same day there will be crochet classes in the Drogheda and District Support 4 Older People Offices at7 The Haymarket from 2pm to 4pm and the cost is €3.
On Tuesday, September 26th there will be a day trip to Carlingford leaving at 10am to include The Omeath-Warren-point-Ferry-Trip at a cost of €10.
On Wednesday, September 27th there will be ‘Back to the Future’ - Older People to Visit the Younger Children at Stepping Stones Community Crèche Drogheda for Story Telling and Knitting Lessons at 10.30am.
Thursday, September 28th will be Bingo at Bru, The Haymarket from 2.3opm to 5pm and on Sunday, October 1st there will be Mass in the Augustinian Church, Shop Street at 1.15pm followed by the annual Tea Dance in the Westcourt Hotel from 3pm to 6.30pm.
